NIS2 (Network and Information Systems Directive 2) introduction course

A one-day course delivered online or in a classroom covering the Network and Information Systems Directive 2 which will replace the previous NIS Directive as of 18 October 2024.

Cybersecurity threats are almost always cross-border, and a cyber-attack on critical facilities in one country can affect the EU as a whole. Therefore, EU countries need to have procedures and governmental bodies in place to collaborate between states by sharing cybersecurity procedures and rules.

The NIS2 Directive will replace the previous NIS Directive, which it will repeal, as of 18 October 2024, with the aim of addressing a radically changed threat landscape and, at the same time, defining a more uniform and coordinated regulatory framework to overcome the divergences created by the NIS, by introducing new cybersecurity obligations for a large pool of companies.

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the EU NIS2 Directive cyber security obligations which address a changed cyber threat landscape by defining a more uniform and coordinated regulatory framework to overcome the divergences created by the NIS.

A certificate of attendance will be provided after the completion of the course
