GDPR Awareness Course
A one-day course giving a basic overview of EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This awareness training course is designed to give an understanding of the EU data protection regulation. The new regulation has shaped the way organizations across the world with EU clientele approach data privacy.
The regulation applies to data controllers (an organization that collects data from EU residents) and data processors (an organization that processes data on behalf of data controller) who are based in the EU. The regulation also applies to organizations outside the EU if they collect or process personal data of EU residents/entities.
Additional course benefits include access to course material augmented with exclusive insights from big data analytics based on DNV’s database of millions of audit findings worldwide. Attendees will also gain free access to DNV’s online self-assessment tool where they can quickly implement and practice learnings, as well as measuring company performance against specific management system standards.

- The EU GDPR.
