Environmental Management System Auditor/Lead Auditor Training Course per ISO 14001:2015 Blended

A full week course split into 16 hours of e-learning modules followed by three days of classroom sessions. The course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second-and third-party audits of management systems against the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015.

A course for participants intending to lead first, second, and third-party audits of management systems against the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. It includes guidance given in ISO 19011 for first- and second-party audits as well as the requirements of ISO 17021 for third-party audits.

This course has been registered and certificated by the CQI and IRCA Governing Body and satisfies the formal training requirements for individuals seeking registration under CQI and IRCA or other Auditor Certification Schemes. The course comprises of e-learning modules, including assessment, and classroom sessions with CQI and IRCA final examination.

Objective:

The course is intended to impart all the knowledge and skills required by lead auditors in Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015.

  • Master the key principles and practices of effective EMS audits in line with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 19011 “Guidelines for auditing management systems”.
  • Understand the skills and knowledge required to perform and lead EMS audits.
  • Plan, perform, report, and lead EMS audits to satisfy third-party certification.
  • Explain audit communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create value-added audit reporting and follow-up audits as a team leader.

Pre-requisites

For successful completion of this course, it is expected that participants have prior knowledge of the following management principles and concepts:
  • The PDCA cycle
  • Relationship between environmental management and impacts and effects
  • HLS requirements
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015.
These prior knowledge requirements can be easily gained by attending our Foundation course in ISO14001/ Environmental Management Systems.
