IACS just released unified requirements for cyber security, making it mandatory for system suppliers and shipyards to build cyber security barriers into their system and vessel design. Cyber security is also a key enabler for allowing a safe and efficient ship-to-shore data infrastructure.
In this session, we discussed current and upcoming regulations and how you can adapt your automation, navigation and communication systems to the new requirements and standardized data exchange.
The webinar agenda covers:
- Part 1: IACS UR (approx. 45min)
- IACS UR requirements and how to implement them to build CS resilience into your system
- Q&A
- Part 2: D-inf (approx. 45min)
- Standardization of your ship-to-shore data infrastructure systems for on-board and onshore data centres
- Q&A
The speakers were Knut Omberg and Simen Sandelien, both Principal Engineers in the Cyber Safety and Security team at DNV Maritime.
