Class services – attained annual operational CII verification
DNV, with our extensive experience in decarbonization services, will extend the DCS verification scheme with attained annual operational CII verification including correction factors and voyage adjustments from 1 January 2024 based on the verified DCS data from the previous year.
DNV’s DCS customers will be able to preview their aggregated DCS data and consider the influence that CII correction factors and voyage adjustments might have on it. The corrected attained CII will be calculated separately from the CII without the correction factors and both will be displayed in Veracity.
Finally, to make it as smooth as possible, both DCS FOC-R and CII will be possible to be submitted for verification with just one click.
Emissions Insights – your monitoring tool
All the DNV’s DCS customers can use Emissions Insights on Veracity to monitor their vessels’ performance and preliminary CII Ratings. Emissions Insights is a dashboard that gives you an overview of your fleet’s CO2 emissions over the years and provides you with the preliminary CII and Carbon Intensity Ratings for your fleet.
The results there are based on the reported DCS data.
Starting from 2023, CII correction factors and voyage adjustments reported in your DCS data are also taken into account.
Company Audit
Periodical company audits are required to confirm that the SEEMP part III is being implemented onboard, including verification of the progress of measures, self-assessment and responsibilities related to the implementation and monitoring of measures.
DNV will offer Company SEEMP audit in combination with ISM company audit, with a frequency of approximately every 3rd year. An option for annual SEEMP Company audits will also be available. The company SEEMP audit will also be offered as a service to companies not having ISM certification with DNV.
A statement confirming that that the company SEEMP audit has been carried out will be issued.
